2008-09 Meet Sign-Up!
Instructions- check your calendar and sign up for the meets below- please try to have your season as accurate as possible so we can plan staffing for the various meets. Fill out and submit one form for each swimmer in your family! FAQs: How many meets do we need to go to? As a rule of thumb one meet for every year of age is a good guideline for swimmers practicing at least 3 times a week (full team). developmental team swimmers (little iggys) should only sign up for home meets (and the Iguana Invite). Of course we like to have everyone at all home meets. What if something comes up and we cannot attend one we signed up for? Just follow the instructions below and re-submit your form and call Coach Jim. How long are the meets? In general they last 4 hours (not including warm-up time) . What about the USA swimming meets? Do we need to go to those? USA meets require USA Swimming membership (optional, form available on our registration page) and are geared towards our more experienced members to provide varied competition. If you are interested and not sure about participating just ask the staff. Why aren't the end of year championship meets on the sign-up page? Swimmers will be entered automatically in the championship meets for which they qualify. These meets begin at the end of February and we will mail out the line-ups for them as they come up. If you have a conflict at that time please let us know. Note: If you sign up for a meet and can't go you must (excluding sudden emergency of course)... -submit a revised form here and -call Head Coach Jim at 773- 259-2736 (please put his # in your phone)
